At times, during a misunderstanding with a friend, we feel it is not our mistake and hesitate in saying a sorry first. But it should not be that way. Though the saying goes that there is ‘no thanks and no sorry’ among friends but in practice and in today’s environment both are as important, be it between close friends, total strangers or even married couples.
So value your relationship more than your petty ego and initiate. In most cases the response may surprise you when the other person says, “Oh no, I was equally at fault and was hesitating in breaking the ice.”
